Be Who We Are

It was an amazing week to enjoy Christmas with family and friends last weekend. The season takes a lot of investment and time from week to week, so it was a nice break to spend time with the people I love. It was also a blessing to have time to let my body rest and recover from the beating it has taken all season long. I’m looking forward to feel more fresh as we head into our last regular season game.

Our week 17 matchup is against the Saints on Sunday. Our recipe for success this week is going to be much of what we’ve done all year. We’ve been successful in the season so far, so we will need to keep being who we are. We need to go out there, read our keys, make our checks and make sure the offense is on the same page.

We know the Saints D will give us some different looks from when we faced them earlier in the season. They are going to do their best to change coverages to try to confuse us. Their veteran Kenny Vaccaro and Jairus Byrd are elite DBs who ballhawk in the middle of their defense. Cameron Jordan is their anchor on the line against both the run and pass.

Excited to getting the game started on Sunday. I’m also pumped to see Bama play on Saturday in the College Football Playoff. I’m proud to see that the Tide continues to roll with another amazing team. Roll Tide!!
